RITABBI - Prophetic Powers

Who is a Prophet ?
A Prophet is an oracle of God; he communicates between God and man. A Prophet is the mouth of God; he speaks not only the deep things of God to men but also speaks directly to men what God is saying about them. He is a reflection of God, the shadow of God and the carrier of God. A Prophet is a servant of God and also a “God”.
So the Lord said to Moses: “See, I have made you as God, to Pharaoh, and Aaron your brother shall be your prophet. (Exodus 7 :1) NKJV
A Prophet is a God over any soul. God dwells or enters in the body of his true Prophet; He uses their body to work because He is a spirit. Once you come in contact with a true Prophet, he tells you what God is saying about you. Sometimes, what he speaks to you is not what you are expecting to hear. This is simply because of the human tendency which always makes everyone to only listen to what he or she wants to hear and not what God is saying.
Many are being cursed because they don’t know who a Prophet is. If you curse a Prophet, you are cursing God directly because his body is no longer his. God is too jealous of Himself and He is also jealous over His Prophet. When you insult God’s true Prophet, you are insulting God directly. (Numbers 12:1-11).
A Prophet reminds God about you, making God to know you or remember you. He also reminds God of His word concerning you. (Numbers 14:11-20).
A Prophet holds your prosperity.
So they rose early in the morning and went out into the wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets and you shall prosper”. (2 Chronicles 20:20) NKJV
You must listen to the words of a true Prophet because he is with the word of God and he speaks all that God is saying.
I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brethren, and will put My words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him. And it shall be that whoever will not hear My words, which He speaks in My name, I require it of him. (Deuteronomy 18:18-19) NKJV

For Moses truly said to the fathers, “The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall near in all things, whatever He says to you. And it shall be that every soul who will not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people”. Yes, and all the prophets, from Samuel and those who follow, as many as have spoken, have also foretold these days. You are sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, ‘And in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed.’ (Acts 3:22-25)NKJV
A true Prophet of God is the one that can tell you and direct you to the original plans God has for you, he is the one that has the power to re-shape your destiny, putting you on the right track for you to fulfill your destiny. A true Prophet is a territorial commander that has what it takes to curse or make a land to be fruitful (1Kings 17:1) (2Kings 2:19-22). A true Prophet has the power to reward or bless you if he chooses to (2Kings 4:15-17).
God has placed His true Prophet as a watchman over every soul to protect and shepherd His people.
“Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Isreal; therefore hear a word from My mouth, and give them warning from ME” (Ezekiel 3:17) NKJV
A true Prophet is one that Prophesies and it comers to pass.
“As for the prophet who prophesies of peace, when the word of the prophet comes to pass, the prophet will be known as one whom the Lord has truly sent.” (Jeremiah 28:9) NKJV
A true Prophet has God’s secrets and God does not hide anything from His true Prophet.
And the Lord said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am doing …” (Genesis 18:7) NJKV
Surely, the Lord God does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servant the prophets. (Amos 3:7) NKJV
